I’m Casper Feng, an Oslo-based software developer and consultant.

I got my start in consulting early — first through freelancing, then as part of Norway's largest student-led consulting firm. Since then I've worked across a pretty varied set of problems: Open Banking with DNB, frontend work for TV 2, and building a mobile app for Coop Norge. Each project brought something different to figure out.

I grew up in Trondheim and studied there too, earning a Master of Science in Computer Science from NTNU. Outside of code I follow chess and football more than is probably healthy, and I played clarinet and saxophone for longer than I care to admit.

What I enjoy most is building things that actually get used — where the work shows up in someone's day, not just in a deployment log. I care about making software that's predictable to work with and straightforward to change, which turns out to be harder than it sounds.

Before Tet, I was tech lead of a product team at Statens pensjonskasse (SPK), Norway's main public service pension provider. Most of my time there went into the ongoing pension reform — working through the technical side of bringing new pension rules into production. I also led the implementation of a member segmentation model that changed how SPK reasons about and communicates with its million-plus members across state and private institutions.

I currently work at Tet Digital, where I'm part of the team building the digital platforms behind public transport in Norway. Around 70% of all public transit journeys in the country run through our systems — apps, websites, real-time information, and the infrastructure underneath it all. Tet was founded in January 2024, owned jointly by Ruter, Skyss, and Agder Kollektivtrafikk, with about 300 people working across the company.
